We took a 1 ½ hour bus ride from the small port of Livorno to Florence. We saw the Duomo (the big red dome) and tons of old churches (11th, 12th and 13th centuries). The art and architecture were amazing. Mody thought of brother Rick quite often. We also saw Michelangelo’s and Galileo’s tombs.
After another 1 ½ hour bus ride to Pisa we saw the Leaning Tower and more old churches. The feeling of history and the age of all the buildings gave it more awe than we had expected.
Jeff played poker using the “Poker Pro” computer system. This is the same as live poker with real people that you see, but there is no dealer, no cards and no chips. Oh yes, Jeff won J
